The P.T.F.E Insert Elastic Protectors avoid any damage to an elastic during transport in a 2-part (puller) kit. Where the elastic is normally folded over 2 thin carbon walls, it now runs over elastic-friendly and rounded P.T.F.E. material. The two raised sides prevent the elastic from coming into contact with the bottom of a holdall or pole tube. In addition, the Insert protector prevents friction with the inside of the rod, making the elastic function significantly better.
