Available in the following sizes:
Size 6 — The special finish on these hooks tones well with Sweetcorn but also makes a good change of hook colour over light, sandy gravel. Produced in forged 0.80mm high carbon wire, this size 6 is normally tied to lines from around 6lb to 10lb.
Size 8 — Three or four grains of Sweetcorn can be threaded round the bend and up the shank to almost completely mask the hook. Produced in forged 0.71mm high carbon wire, this extra strong Size 8 is normally tied to lines between 5lb and 8lb.
Size 10 — With it’s long point, angled back towards the hook-shank and a pronounced reverse, very few fish are lost on this excellent, barbless design. Produced in forged 0.64mm high carbon wire this size 10 is normally tied to lines of around 4lb to 8lb.
Size 12 — Two big grains of corn sit perfectly on this size 12, nestling in the bottom of the bend and leaving the extra long point exposed. This 0.59mm wire gauge hook is strong and durable and is normally fished on lines from 4lb to 7lb.
Size 14 — A really popular size for Sweetcorn, being small enough to produce lots of bites and strong enough to handle big Tench and Carp into double figures. In 0.52mm gauge wire they can be tied to lines from 3lb 8oz to 6lb.
Size 16 — This size is small enough to be buried inside a single grain of corn with just the point showing. in 0.49mm gauge wire it is strong enough for Carp and big Tench and is normally tied to lines from around 3lb to 5lb 8oz.
